Cookie and browser-storage information
Estifire currently uses only storage that is necessary for sign-in, security, language choice, and the product to work. No advertising or analytics cookies are enabled.

What is stored
- Firebase Authentication: local browser storage keeps anonymous or signed-in authentication active between page loads.
- Language preference:
estifire-languageremembers Swedish or English on your device. - Google sign-in redirect: temporary session storage completes a sign-in when a popup cannot be used.
- Firebase App Check / reCAPTCHA Enterprise: technical signals and storage help distinguish genuine clients from abuse.
- Passkeys: your device or password manager stores the passkey. Estifire stores an encrypted account bundle; biometric data stays on your device.
Consent
These technologies are required to provide the service or a feature you explicitly request. Estifire therefore does not show a consent banner for optional tracking that does not exist. If analytics, marketing, or other non-essential storage is introduced, it will remain off until you make an active choice, and that choice will be revocable.
Your controls
You can remove site data in your browser settings. Doing so signs you out, clears your language choice, and may create a new anonymous participant next time. Device or password-manager settings control passkeys. Blocking necessary storage can stop sessions or sign-in from working.
